System benefits
The 185mmSystem was designed for use in efficient power distribution assemblies with a high short-circuit withstand capacity. The small width of the NH
in-line fuse switch disconnectors used in this system allows the cabinet space to be used optimally. The wide spacing of the busbars in the 185mm system means that short-circuit ratings in excess of 100 kA can be achieved. All components could be mounted with little handling, and the time-consuming task of drilling busbars is no longer required.
